About Jim Bracke

Bracke Advocatuur is a professional and expert law practice in The Hague and is led by the founder Mr. J. (Jim) T.R.J. Bracke who started the office in 2009. In 1997 he obtained his master’s degree at the University of Leiden, specializing in Corporate Law.

Jim has worked as a Lawyer (Litigator) as from 2001 after working a few years as a corporate lawyer.

Jim has a great deal of litigation experience and runs a general practice with specializations in family law, employment law, contract and tenancy law.

Jim’s way of working is aimed at reaching the optimal result for his clients, without losing sight of the possible solution of the conflict between parties.

Bracke Advocatuur advises and litigates in various situations and cases and provides legal assistance to both individuals as well as businesses.

Jim has registered the following principal (and secondary) legal practice areas in the Netherlands Bar’s register of legal practice areas (rechtsgebiedenregister):

• Family law;
• Employment law;
• Tenancy law;
• General practice;

Based on this registration, he is required to obtain ten training credits per calendar year in each registered principal legal practice area in accordance with the standards set by the Netherlands Bar.
